Accessibility
Our new building is one-story and built to be accessible to individuals with disabilities. Additionally, people will be able to access multiple Guardian Angel services in this one convenient location, including our Angel Boutique Resale Shop, Client-Choice Food Pantry, and workshops and other events.
Affordability
The brand new Social Services Center features an expansive parking lot, meaning patrons will no longer have to search for parking spaces and pay for metered parking.
Capacity
The 18,000 square foot facility was specifically designed for Guardian Angel’s needs. The layout of our new food pantry can now accommodate multiple patrons to shop at a time and includes a separate office space for private consultations. Moreover, the sheer size of the building will allow our self-sufficiency workshops to serve as many as 2,400 individuals each year and our food pantry to receive up to 5,200 visits.
Overall, this transition means the important work we do can be carried out in a more comprehensive and efficient way. Make sure to join us at the Grand Opening next week, Wednesday, October 23rd from 4:30pm to 6:30pm!
