Guardian Angel provides early childhood education and social services to individuals and families in St. Louis’ 63104 and 63118 zip codes. Guardian Angel may collect certain information from you through the Site, including personal information (i.e., individual information that may be used to personally identify or contact you). Collection is done both actively (information you voluntarily submit to us) and passively (information automatically gathered from your computer within our site analytic capabilities).

Active Collection
At several places on our Site, we collect certain information you voluntarily provide to us which may contain personally identifiable information. For example, if you make a donation, request information, become a member of our e-newsletter list, fill out a form or register for an event through the site, we may collect your name, phone and email. When making a donation, you are required to provide us with credit card information for payment. Credit card information is collected through PayPal, a third party, and no information is shared with Guardian Angel. Paypal is a secure service and all information submitted is terminated once the transaction is complete.

Passive Collection
Our website content platform automatically collects certain information from your computer (such as your Internet address and browser type) using two methods: (1) “cookies” and (2) log files.

Cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is not linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of Guardian Angel and only to further the mission of Guardian Angel. In the course of the annual audit, information may be provided to an independent firm conducting the process.
