DAF, IRA and Stock Gifts

Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA
If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a Tax-Smart Impact with a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA. As a tax-efficient way to support Guardian Angel, a QCD counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) and can reduce your taxable income—while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and seniors in our community.
Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
You can recommend a gift to Guardian Angel Settlement Association directly from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF). To initiate a gift, simply contact your DAF provider and request a donation to Guardian Angel. DAF gifts can be mailed to:
*Gifts made through a donor-advised fund (DAF) are not eligible for Youth Opportunity Program (YOP) tax credits, as your tax benefit is received at the time the contribution is made to your DAF.

Give a Gift of Stock
Donating stock is one of the most tax-smart ways to give — and one of the most impactful. By contributing appreciated assets held for more than one year, you can avoid capital gains taxes and deduct the full fair market value of your gift. That means you give more to support children, families, and seniors — without increasing your out-of-pocket cost.
