(St. Louis, MO) Beginning November 9, the highly popular Angel Boutique Resale Shop will open in space that is part of Guardian Angel Settlement Association’s new $3-million, 18,000 square-foot Social Services facility located at 3300 S. Jefferson Ave.  The Angel Boutique Resale Shop has been located on the 2700 block of Cherokee Street.

“We’re excited about moving the Angel Boutique to our new facility,” said Jessica Brandon, President & CEO of Guardian Angel Settlement Association.  “Shoppers who count on finding great deals on gently used clothing, household items and more will experience a more contemporary shopping experience that includes free parking on the lot that surrounds the newly renovated building.”

In addition to being the new home for the Angel Boutique Resale Shop, the new building also includes group meeting spaces for the wide array of self-sufficiency workshops Guardian Angel offers; a state-of-the-art kitchen where nutritional workshops will be held in partnership with Operation Food Search; a food pantry; private meeting rooms for 1:1 case management and administrative offices.

“Everyone from our neighbors in our new location, city and state elected officials, corporate leaders and funders – and of course, many individual donors, helped move a dream to a reality as we transformed a vacant building on an entire block of Jefferson Avenue in about two years,” said Brandon.  She also noted that the hours for the new store location will remain the same, Tuesday – Saturday, 11 am – 7 pm.
