Marcia’s journey with Guardian Angel Settlement Association childcare is just beginning. In fact, she’s still awaiting the birth of her son. Until then, she has enrolled and attended the expecting mothers course. In the classes, Marcia has learned valuable information, developed a community of other moms, and received important tools, like a newborn car seat, to help her better care for her soon-to-be son. Marcia’s satisfaction with the course recently motivated her to submit information for her son to be accepted into the newborn childcare program.
As a single mom with limited income and time, Marcia considers Guardian Angel Settlement Association as an incredible opportunity to help advance the well-being of her family. She acknowledges that there are many people in need in her neighborhood (and beyond), so she feels incredibly blessed that childcare programs have been available to her.
