Guardian Angel Settlement Association is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position that is responsible for planning, managing and implementing daily classroom programs and activities to further children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth and development. Position is also responsible for acting as a support and resource to parents and implementing Head Start Program Performance Standards, Missouri Child Care Licensing Regulations and all Childcare procedures and objectives. The scheduled hours for the position are flexible to meet the demands of the Center between the hours of 6am – 6pm, Monday through Friday. The positions are supervised by the Assistant Director of Childcare. Starting Salary: CDA- Infant Toddler – $13/hour, Associate’s Degree $15/hour, Bachelor’s Degree $17/hour.

A minimum of an CDA Certification – Infant Toddler Focus.  Ability to work with a broad range of children, parents, volunteers and staff in a positive manner. Excellent communication skills, organized, detail-oriented, and competent in the use of computers also required. Provide evidence of an annual physical and TB Test and have the ability to lift fifty (50) pounds. Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test also required.
