Back-to-School Program 2013

Dear Friends,

We hope you are enjoying the summer. While the family fun and sunshine filled days have only begun, Guardian Angel Settlement Association is already planning for the 16th Annual Back-to-School Program to be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Peabody Elementary School.

Helping children start the school year right is a big part of Guardian Angel’s mission of empowering families. After all, education provides low-income children with their best chance at beating poverty and creating new opportunities for themselves. For families that cannot afford the cost of quality school supplies, the Back-to-School Program is the first step towards school success.

Through key partnerships with other community agencies, the Back-to-School Program has dramatically increased the number of children served each year. In 2012 alone, the Program was able to support 1,300 children!

This year, the Back-to-School Program will provide backpacks, school supplies and a new pair of shoes to elementary, middle and high school students. Your support will make this a reality.
